Holt is co-author of The New York Times best-seller Break Your Own Rules: How to Change the Patterns of Thinking that Block Women's Paths to Power, based on more than 1,700 interviews with Fortune 1000 executives and other professionals.
Holt’s voice is in high demand as a speaker, trainer, and executive coach. She shares her hard-won insights and promotes women’s success for a wide range of audiences. Her 2012 talk at TEDx Gramercy, “Break Your Own Rules” has garnered more than 40,000 views on YouTube.
Before coming to FHHL, Holt held executive positions at Time Warner with oversight that included such diverse areas as finance, information technology, marketing, human resources, manufacturing, and distribution. She held a number of leadership roles in the publishing group, including senior executive vice president and chief operating officer of Time Life Inc. She led the management of worldwide manufacturing distribution for Time Inc.’s magazines, including Time, Fortune, People, and Sports Illustrated). She also served as president of Time Life Books and Time Life Kids.
