Sly Lee is a first generation Asian American entrepreneur, co-founder & co-CEO of Emerge, an LA based company building a platform for touch in the metaverse - imagine a virtual high five, but without the need for wearables. Emerge’s purpose is to create a future where distance and time don’t stand in the way of feeling present.
His journey is influenced by his upbringing in the American Deep South, work in developing countries, and experience founding an oceans education non-profit, The Hydrous, funded by Google, Autodesk, and the Smithsonian.
He is co-chair of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council for AR/VR, a Forbes 30 Under 30 class of 2018 recipient, a recent student of Daoism, and can be found surfing the coast of southern California some mornings.
