Rohan Oza

Rohan Oza is a businessman, investor, and marketing executive recognized for his impact in the consumer goods industry and brand marketing. Known as "Hollywood's Brandfather" by Hollywood Reporter, Oza has played a significant role in developing celebrity equity deals and building consumer brands.

Oza began his career at Mars, Incorporated, where he was the youngest manufacturing manager for M&M's and later managed the Snickers brand in Europe. He then joined The Coca-Cola Company as a marketing manager, where he revitalized Sprite by targeting younger audiences and signing basketball player Kobe Bryant as a spokesperson.

Oza later joined Glaceau as partner and chief marketing officer, where he helped build Vitaminwater and Smartwater through marketing strategies and partnerships with celebrities such as 50 Cent, Jennifer Aniston, Kobe Bryant, and Tom Brady. He was instrumental in the sale of Glaceau to Coca-Cola for $4.1 billion and subsequently served as chief marketing officer of Coke's still brands. Oza's work with 50 Cent and Vitaminwater established a model for celebrity equity transactions in the consumer packaged goods sector.

After leaving The Coca-Cola Company, Oza co-founded CAVU Venture Partners, a venture capital firm focused on consumer packaged goods. The firm raised over $156 million for its first fund and $210 million for its second fund. Oza's portfolio includes brands such as Vita Coco, Popchips, Flywheel Spinning Studios, WTRMLN WTR, Chef's Cut Real Jerky, Sir Kensington's, and Bai Brands. On "Shark Tank," Oza invested in Mother Beverage, later rebranded as Poppi soda, which was subsequently acquired by PepsiCo.

Oza has appeared on national television shows including "Shark Tank," Squawk Box, Closing Bell with Liz Clayman, and Power Pitch. He has spoken at industry events such as BEVNet, Lincoln Conference, Summit Series, and SAMMA, and has delivered keynote addresses for organizations including 20th Century Fox, Nestle Brands, Michigan's Stephen R. Ross School of Business, and the University of Southern California. Oza has been recognized on Crain's 40 Under 40, Brandweek's Top Ten Marketers, and Ad Age's "Marketing 50." He also serves as an advisor to Impact Network, a nonprofit focused on education in rural Zambia.
