George Anders is an American business journalist, author, and public speaker with a career spanning four decades in business reporting, career development, and workforce trends. Anders spent more than a dozen years at The Wall Street Journal as a feature writer, specializing in in-depth profiles. He shared in a Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting while at The Wall Street Journal. His articles and essays have appeared in The New York Times, BusinessWeek, The Atlantic, The Guardian, and Harvard Business Review.

Anders is the author of five business books, including the Wall Street classic "Merchants of Debt" and the New York Times bestseller "Perfect Enough." "Merchants of Debt: KKR and the Mortgaging of American Business" was selected as one of the eight best books of the year by BusinessWeek. His book "The Rare Find" explores talent acquisition and the search for high-performing executives, offering a personal approach to hiring decisions. In "You Can Do Anything," Anders examines the value of a liberal arts education and its role in preparing individuals for a wide range of jobs in emerging fields.
