Steven A. Cahillane Biography

Steven A. Cahillane is a consumer packaged goods executive with more than three decades of experience at global food and beverage companies. Cahillane holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He has extensive expertise in consumer packaged goods, brand development, global market strategy, and corporate restructuring, including leading the separation of Kellogg Company into two independent, publicly traded companies: WK Kellogg Co and Kellanova.

Cahillane developed his executive background through leadership roles in the beverage and brewing industries. He spent eight years at AB InBev, the world's largest brewing company, serving in senior positions including chief commercial officer, where he led commercial strategy, global marketing, sponsorships, innovation, and research following the merger of Interbrew and AmBev. Cahillane then spent seven years at The Coca-Cola Company, most recently as president of Coca-Cola Americas, overseeing the company's largest business segment with $25 billion in sales. He later became president and chief executive officer at The Nature's Bounty Co., a global manufacturer, marketer, and specialty retailer of health and wellness products, where he aligned the company with health and wellness trends, established an e-commerce division, and increased shareholder value.

Cahillane served as chairman and chief executive officer of Kellogg Company, guiding the company through the separation of its North American cereal business, WK Kellogg Co, and the launch of its global snacking business, Kellanova. He subsequently held the roles of chairman, president, and chief executive officer at Kellanova, overseeing the expansion of its global snacking portfolio, which included brands such as "Pringles," "Cheez-It," and "Pop-Tarts."

Cahillane was appointed chief executive officer of The Kraft Heinz Company, where he led the packaged food company through strategic decisions regarding corporate structure and brand reinvestment. He has appeared on programs such as CNBC's "Squawk on the Street" to discuss company earnings, growth strategy, and innovation. In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Cahillane serves on the Smithsonian National Board and the boards of Colgate-Palmolive Company, Northwestern University, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Trust.
