Maddi was drawn to AAE for its focus on understanding people and making meaningful connections. She studied Strategic Communications at Ohio University, where she built a strong foundation in audience insight, research, and effective messaging. Her experience in donor outreach involved managing communications with a large portfolio and using data to guide engagement strategies, helping her develop a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to relationship management. Maddi enjoys drafting proposals and translating client goals into tailored speaker recommendations, especially when those ideas resonate and move the process forward. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and exploring new areas around North Carolina, and she loves traveling, especially thinking back on her post-graduation trip to Europe, with Positano as a standout destination.
