Moorisha Bey-Taylor is an award-winning entertainment and intellectual property attorney who works closely with creatives to bring their brands to the utmost potential. Bey-Taylor specializes in mechanisms that allow clients to protect and monetize creative capital, including copyright, trademark and licensing agreements. She has been recognized by the California Lawyers Association (Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services); Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, Inc. (Outstanding Service & Leadership Award); Urban League of Los Angeles Young Professionals (Community Empowerment and Changemaker Award); and the University of California, San Diego (2008 Outstanding Senior Award). Bey-Taylor is also a recipient of Oregon Law’s Outstanding Recent Alumni Award, which is given to law school graduates who have made significant career, leadership or service contributions to their communities, to the School of Law and to the legal profession within the first 10 years after graduation.

Bey-Taylor has spoken at the National Bar Association, American Bar Association, USPTO, Spelman College, Howard University School of Law, Seattle University School of Law, Institute for Intellectual Property and Social Justice, Black is Tech, Accra Art Week and numerous national and local events, becoming a sought-after resource for entities seeking to protect their intellectual property.
