Emily Graham Biography
Emily K. Graham is an executive and strategist with nearly two decades of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion within the global marketing and communications industry. As chief inclusion and impact officer at Omnicom, Graham leads the global strategy for OPEN 2.0, the company's inclusion initiative, supporting 75,000 employees. She oversees a worldwide team focused on building an inclusive culture that drives innovation and delivers results for more than 5,000 clients. Omnicom Group, a Fortune 250 marketing communications conglomerate, has positioned Graham at the center of one of the industry's most expansive DE&I mandates.
Graham's career includes serving as FleishmanHillard's first chief diversity officer, as well as senior partner, executive committee member, global client leader, and practice chair for financial and professional services. She was the first Black member of FleishmanHillard's cabinet, the agency's top level of strategic leadership, at age 33. Her work has been profiled in Forbes, Essence, and other publications. Graham also founded True MOSAIC, a consultancy focused on aligning business strategy with cultural inclusion, and has held leadership roles at MWWPR and Burson-Marsteller.
In her current role, Graham leads Omnicom's OPEN team, a group of 60 DE&I professionals responsible for company-wide strategy, and advises major clients on DE&I matters. She serves as Omnicom's global head of diversity and inclusion communications, providing counsel to clients such as AT&T, General Motors, and Microsoft. Graham advises C-suite executives at the intersection of social impact and corporate reputation.
Graham is active beyond the corporate sector, speaking at events including Cannes Lions and CES, and hosting the Omnicom Inclusion Breakfast at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. She is an adjunct professor and serves on advisory boards for Syracuse University and Southern Methodist University. Graham also serves on the boards of the Institute of Public Relations, Cannes Can Diversity Collective, American Advertising Federation, and Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications.
