Ruth M. Bowdish Biography

Ruth M. Bowdish is an author, public speaker, life coach, mother of two, and an advocate for personal empowerment – for all ages. She has spent her education and career helping others become emotionally aware and has given them the tools they need to overcome personal obstacles.

Bowdish is currently the Managing Director for On Demand Occupational Medicine. She has over two decades of leadership experience and over a decade of experience working within the Occupational Health and Safety Industry. Bowdish has been called on by various media outlets as well as national and state leaders to provide her knowledge and expertise on some of the toughest topics plaguing our society today. She has had the privilege to travel the country sharing her guidance and understanding of the skills needed to be successful in any industry. She completed over two hundred educational hours directly related to substance use disorder and worked as a counselor with individuals battling addiction for many years. Bowdish received her master’s degree in psychology in 2020 and made the switch from individual counseling to public speaking and consulting.

As a consultant, Bowdish has provided invaluable information to create strong teams with strong leaders. As a Substance Abuse Professional, she has provided a deeper understanding of addiction and drugs in the workplace and in the transportation industry. As a counselor and coach, she has provided guidance to navigating personal difficulties that are holding people back from being the success stories they can be.

Bowdish has been invited to provide her wide array of knowledge and expertise across the country at national events as well as within private industry. With her dynamic presentation skills, she has spoken publicly with a great number of organizations as well as through private industry.
