Sarah Chalke

Sarah Chalke is a Canadian actress whose career spans more than three decades across television, film, and voice acting. Chalke began her acting career at age eight in musical theater productions and, at 12, became a reporter on the Canadian children's show KidZone. She gained national exposure when she took over the role of Rebecca Conner on "Roseanne," one of television's most recognized sitcoms.

Chalke considered taking a break from acting to attend college but instead landed the role of Dr. Elliot Reid on the medical comedy-drama "Scrubs." As Dr. Elliot Reid on NBC's "Scrubs," Chalke became known for her deadpan delivery and comedic timing, performing alongside actors such as Ken Jenkins and John C. McGinley.
