Jack O'Connell

Jack O'Connell first gained public attention for his role in the television series "Skins" from 2009 to 2010 and again in 2013. This role earned him a TV Choice Award for Best Actor. His talent was further recognized in the independent prison drama "Starred Up," which won him praise from critics and nominations from the British Independent Film Awards. Subsequent roles in films such as "'71" and "Unbroken" solidified his standing in the industry. He received the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2014, and the National Board of Review recognized his breakthrough performances with an award in the same year.

Following his early successes, O'Connell continued to make a name for himself with a wide variety of roles. In 2016, he appeared in "Money Monster," followed by "Trial by Fire" in 2018.
