Last year, Super Bowl LVIII drew in more than 200 million viewers. As the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles prepare to go head-to-head for Super Bowl LIX, the Big Game promises to bring even more thrilling sports storylines.

The Chiefs are aiming to make NFL history by winning their third Super Bowl in a row, two of the NFL’s top quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts get a rematch, and on top of all of that, Taylor Swift is in the mix once again. In short, the stage is set for one of the most watched sporting events ever.

Here’s a roundup of everything you need to know about the game and the celebrities, performers, and media personalities who are about to take center stage at Super Bowl LIX. Let’s kick things off.

When is Super Bowl LIX?

The Big Game will take place on February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana — home to the New Orleans Saints. This is the 11th time that the city is hosting the Super Bowl, which matches Miami for the most in NFL History.

Local authorities are reportedly ramping up security measures in the aftermath of the New Year’s Day terrorist attack. Because the Super Bowl is considered a “top-tier event” by the Department of Homeland Security, the city is receiving support from federal agencies like the FBI to ensure the safety of those attending.

How can I watch Super Bowl LIX?

Super Bowl LIX will be broadcast on FOX, as well as in Spanish on FOX Deportes and Telemundo. Several live TV streaming platforms, such as YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, and Fubo TV, will carry the game through FOX. NFL games can also be streamed using the NFL App.

Additionally, Fox Sports has announced a Super Bowl “takeover” on its ad-supported streaming service, Tubi, which will provide free access to the game and pregame programming. For viewers outside the U.S., the Super Bowl is accessible with a DAZN subscription.

Which celebrities are appearing in Super Bowl LIX ads?

Are you looking forward to this year’s star-studded ads just as much as the game? You’re not alone! In a 2022 study, 27% of Super Bowl viewers said that their favorite part of the game is the ads. This year, a fresh set of ads featuring star studded celebrity cameos will premier throughout the Big Game. And many are already available for viewing across social media. Here’s a rundown:

Who is on the broadcast team for Super Bowl LIX?

For the millions of viewers who only catch one football game all year, it will be the job of the broadcasting team and sideline reporters to fill in all the knowledge gaps around rules, play calls, and player storylines — making the game accessible for casual fans.

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will make his Super Bowl commentary debut alongside FOX NFL’s acclaimed team of Kevin Burkhardt, Erin Andrews, and Tom Rinaldi. The FOX Super Bowl LIX pregame show will broadcast live from Bourbon Street, featuring an iconic lineup that includes NFL Hall of Famers, Super Bowl-winning broadcasters, and the nation’s top NFL pregame show for 31 consecutive seasons.

FOX Deportes will deliver its fifth Super Bowl broadcast, with award-winning sportscasters Rodolfo Landeros, Adrian Garcia-Marquez, Jessi Losada, and Jaime Motta leading the Spanish-language coverage.

Which artists are performing at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show?

This year, Grammy & Pulitzer Award-Winning rapper Kendrick Lamar will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. But before that, the multitalented Grammy Award-winner and New Orleans native Jon Batiste will kick things off on the field, performing the national anthem. Christian singer-songwriter Lauren Daigle will sing “America the Beautiful,” with Trombone Shorty performing alongside her. Grammy Award-winning R&B and jazz recording artist and New Orleans native Ledisi will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Stephanie Nogueras will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language (ASL). Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful.” Otis Jones IV will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Matt Maxey will provide the ASL rendition of the halftime show.
