|
|
Her humor and humanity are what the public relates to most deeply. An attorney and expert in aging and longevity, Adriane brings a practical, informal voice to topics shrouded in jargon and complexity. Her mission is to “bring simple solutions to life’s complex issues.” She realizes part of that mission in her book How Not To Go Broke At 102, a Wiley & Sons lead book, Fall 2003.
Adriane is an inspiring “infoprenuer,” creator of two enterprises devoted to the dissemination of information in the areas of longevity and aging as they relate to housing, health, personal finance, work/balance, and leisure. She created the Wealthbuilder Newsletter, devoted to investor education, now in its ninth year. Wealthbuilder also produces seminars, training and marketing concepts regarding aging and adult life. Wealthbuilder, under Adriane’s oversight, created a 50th anniversary event for the Empire State Building in conjunction with the U.S Treasury.
Adriane has acted as consultant to numerous financial firms and social service organizations, including New York Life Of Greater New Jersey and Hunter College’s Brookdale Center on Aging. She has been the spokesperson for the National Coupon Association and Penn Pacific Insurance.
Ms. Berg is a founder of the Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and served as Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Subcommittee on Estate Planning. She was recently named to the U.S. Treasury Greater New York Committee for Savings Awareness and is a former board member of the International Association for Financial Planners, among many professional organizations. She holds a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, where she was an Editor of the Law Review.
She is the financial expert for Trend Sight, a business research arm for companies seeking to attract the baby boomer and active adult market. TrendSight is the creation of renowned entrepreneur Mary Furlong, creator of Senior Net.
Ms. Berg is the author of 13 books on personal finance. She is a frequent guest on a variety of television programs, including The Oprah Winfrey Show, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Good Morning America, as well as the CNN Financial Network.
Adriane brings her humor, insight and energy to every medium.
