Jazzmyn RED is an award-winning artist, educator and higher education equity leader working at the intersection of cultural expression, systemic justice and educational transformation.

RED serves as a U.S. hip-hop and cultural exchange ambassador for the U.S. Department of State’s Next Level Program, through which she has taught and performed internationally, including at Expo 2020 Dubai and Berklee Abu Dhabi.

RED is a higher education equity director and the creator of Hip Hop Is Genius, an internationally facilitated workshop series and curriculum exploring hip-hop as a site of intellectual tradition, social justice and identity development. RED's work has been presented at institutions including Harvard University and Berklee College of Music, where she integrates hip-hop pedagogy, storytelling and social-emotional learning to create transformative learning experiences across educational and organizational spaces.

RED's TEDx talk, "Hip Hop Is Genius," examines hip-hop's role in emotional regulation, identity formation and collective healing, centering the genre as a powerful educational and cultural framework.
