Dr. Matthew Harthcock is the Founder & CEO of Solutions by Harthcock Associates and author of “Igniting Profits.” Vision, innovation, value and/or fun are characteristics sparked from a variety of speaking topics from his writings and experiences. He brings over 40 years of leadership in R&D, engineering, quality, and business at Dow Chemical, GE Plastics, L&L Products, and Schneller (a TransDigm company). A PhD chemist and Six Sigma Green Belt with over 35 published technical works, Dr. Harthcock is a seasoned advisor to universities, professional societies, and companies seeking a vision for the future and continuous improvement. His business insights are rooted in decades of innovation, executive leadership, and a commitment to giving back including serving on Foundation and Advisory Boards.

He has received a number of awards over the years for his research and leadership. He is the 2026 recipient of the Texas A&M College of Arts & Sciences Mitchell Science Medal as a former student recognizing his career accomplishments, service to society, and service/support to Texas A&M University.

He received a PhD from Texas A&M University and BS from Missouri State University - both in chemistry.
