LB Adams is the Founder & CEO of Practical Dramatics, a theatre-based soft skills training company. It’s her quest & vocation to awaken women to the strategic power of what their voice can accomplish. Working with LB, they learn to step into their confidence through deliberate language, positive word choices and all-around killer communication skills. This skillfulness will empower them to have better tough conversations, make more money and achieve greater goals across the scope of their life.
LB is a trained actor who has worked in theatre & film as well as in the
banking and legal industries. She even spent time as a shark-diving scuba instructor! She understands the foundational importance of speaking up and speaking well - after all, theatre saved her life. She brings humor, knowledge and a bit of showmanship to every stage. Through her theatre education and business experience, LB gained a unique view into human communication and interaction. She is thrilled and gratified to help women empower themselves to show up & speak up for precisely who they are and how they want to be seen in the world. She does so through an assortment of workshops, including her renowned Public Speaking Bootcamp For Women, a Zoom-based video interview show - Snack-Sized Business, a variety of speaking engagements and a soon-to-be-released bestselling book.
LB received ovations for her 2019 TEDxCharleston talk entitled “Take
Charge of Your Words - Out Loud,” and hosted TEDxCharleston Live’s
“UNCHARTED” virtual summit in August of 2020. She is slated to host
the (hopefully) fully live TEDxCharleston 2021.
