Ranjana B. Clark Biography
Ms. Clark joined Wachovia in 1989 as a product manager in the Capital Markets Division.
She moved to the Corporate Development area in 1991. She was elected senior vice president and head of Strategic Planning for Wachovia in 1995.
In 1997, she moved back to the Capital Markets Division as manager of Strategic Development to lead the build-out of a Section 20 securities subsidiary.
She moved to the Treasury Services division in 1999 as head of the Treasury Product Solutions Group and became head of Treasury Services in 2001. In April 2007, she became Chief Marketing Officer.
Ms. Clark received a bachelor's degree in economics from Delhi University, a master's degree from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad, and is a Fuqua Scholar with a master's degree in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is a Certified Treasury Professional and holds Series 7, 8, 24 and 63 securities licenses.
Ms. Clark serves on the Board of Directors for the Association of National Advertisers Inc.; the Board of Trustees for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; the Advantage Carolina Board for the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce; and the Board of Visitors of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
In 2006, Ms. Clark was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance for the fourth year in a row by Treasury & Risk Management magazine. She was also named to U.S. Banker magazines 25 Women to Watch list in 2006 and 2007.
