Rob Redenbach specialises in helping people stay calm and make clear decisions when pressure rises. His approach is built around a simple idea: influence of others begins with influence of self.

This philosophy underpins his signature presentation, Calm When It Counts, which teaches practical strategies that reduce conflict, strengthen psychological safety and support better decisions in high-pressure moments.

Redenbach’s work has taken him from managing a security company in Papua New Guinea to training Nelson Mandela’s personal protection team in South Africa and protecting aid workers in Iraq. Since then he has shared his insights with leaders and teams in twenty-three countries, helping them understand how calm thinking shapes better decisions. He has also performed storytelling and comedy shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and the Sydney Opera House, demonstrating his ability to connect with audiences in any setting.

Alongside his practical experience, Redenbach holds a Master of Arts in Terrorism, Safety and Security from the Australian Graduate School of Policing, as well as postgraduate qualifications in dispute resolution from Bond University and executive education from the Harvard Kennedy School.
