Lisa Ann Walter is an actress, comedian, and television producer best known for her roles as Chessy in "The Parent Trap" and Melissa Schemmenti in "Abbott Elementary." Her roles extend beyond acting as she is the creator and former executive producer of the Oxygen network reality weight-loss competition series, "Dance Your Ass Off."
Walter's achievements include receiving a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series for her work in "Abbott Elementary." She additionally won the second season of "Celebrity Jeopardy!" in 2024, securing $1 million for the Entertainment Community Fund. Furthermore, Walter was honored with the Virtuoso Award at the San Diego International Film Festival on October 20, 2022.
Her filmography extends to several films and TV shows including "Bruce Almighty," "Shall We Dance," "War of the Worlds," "The Odd Couple", "GLOW", "Grey's Anatomy", "Sydney to the Max", and "9-1-1" between 2016 and 2021.
