Guster

Formed in 1991 in Somerville, Massachusetts, Guster is a prominent alternative rock band. The band's music has been featured in multiple television shows and movies, including "Martian Child," "Disturbia," "Wedding Crashers," "Life as a House," and "The O.C." Guster has released a number of successful albums, including their sixth studio album "Easy Wonderful" in 2010, seventh studio album "Evermotion" in 2015, and eighth studio album "Look Alive" in 2019. Their single "Satellite" earned the band a gold record in 2018, and they won Album of the Year (Major) at the Boston Music Awards in 2006.

Guster's live shows have gained recognition for their unique style, which includes humorous covers and interactive traditions with the audience. The band began their 2023 tour on March 17th in Dallas and performed at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on April 8th, 2023. They also performed at Porchfest in Somerville, MA, in May 2024, which drew significant attendance. Guster announced their ninth studio album, "Ooh La La," set for release in February 2024, and their recent tours include the 2023 tour dates and the 2024 "We Also Have Eras" tour.

Lead singer Ryan Miller, along with guitarist and vocalist Adam Gardner, have also demonstrated their commitment to environmental advocacy. Gardner co-founded Reverb in 2004, an organization aimed at making touring activities environmentally sound. Reverb has collaborated with artists such as Billie Eilish, Jack Johnson, and the Dave Matthews Band to promote environmental awareness. Guster's "Campus Consciousness Tour" in 2006 focused on eco-friendly initiatives and educating audiences about environmental issues. Furthermore, their debut concert for "Evermotion" supported the Greenovate Boston 2014 Climate Action Plan Update.
