Chris Martin

Chris Martin is an English singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer recognized as the lead vocalist, pianist, and co-founder of the rock band Coldplay. Martin formed Coldplay with Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion while attending University College London, where he earned a first-class degree in Ancient World Studies and met his future bandmates. After the independent release of the EP "Safety," the band signed with Parlophone and released their debut album, "Parachutes," which included the single "Yellow." The album received a Brit Award for British Album of the Year and a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
