Chase Hughes

Chase Hughes is a former U.S. Navy chief known for his expertise in behavioral science, human influence, and behavioral profiling. After a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy specializing in behavioral profiling, human intelligence, and interrogation techniques, Hughes transitioned to the civilian sector and founded Applied Behavior Research. The organization provides training in advanced persuasion, behavioral investigation, profiling, and nonverbal analysis to clients worldwide.

Following his military service, Hughes developed behavior science tools such as rapid behavior profiling and enhanced persuasion techniques, which he teaches to the United States military, law enforcement, Fortune 500 CEOs, doctors, attorneys, executives, and intelligence organizations. He created the Behavioral Table of Elements, an interrogation behavior analysis tool, and the T.F.C.A. cycle, which has influenced law enforcement training. Hughes is also the creator of the Pre-Violence Indicators Index, designed to alert personnel to pre-attack behaviors.

Hughes is the author of several books, including "The Ellipsis Manual: Analysis and Engineering of Human Behavior," which achieved bestseller status, as well as "The Behavior Operations Manual" and "Six Minute X-Ray: Rapid Behaviour Profiling." His publications are widely used in intelligence and behavioral analysis fields. He also developed the Neuro-Cognitive Intelligence system, recognized as a standard for intelligence training.
