He founded Energy Innovations, developing it from a business plan into a solar developer serving clients such as Google, Disney, Sony Pictures, and British Telecom. Following the company's acquisition by Suntech, Beebe served as chief commercial officer and vice president of global product strategy at Suntech, contributing to its growth as a leading solar company. He later held the role of vice president of distributed generation at Nextera Energy, a major clean energy developer in the United States. His experience spans founding, operating, and executive roles across the clean energy sector.

Before entering the clean technology field, Beebe was involved in the early internet economy.
