Tasha Wahl is an artist, speaker, author, philanthropist, and entrepreneur whose visionary approach to creativity and generosity has inspired global change. In 2013, she founded The Butterfly Effect, an interactive movement rooted in Gandhi’s belief that we must be the change we wish to see in the world. Inspired by Edward Lorenz’s Butterfly Effect theory, she believes small, contagious acts of kindness can create a ripple effect of meaningful transformation. Through interactive public art and social media, The Butterfly Effect revolutionizes philanthropy with its two central programs: Social Butterfly Installations and Butterfly Drops. Tasha’s life-sized interactive Social Butterfly installations have been photographed around the world, including in New York, Chicago, Boston, Phoenix, Nashville, Minnesota, Washington DC, Europe, and Mexico.

In 2016, she partnered with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to launch 5,000 Butterfly Drops, culminating in a large-scale installation at the Mall of America honoring cancer survivors and caregivers. Tasha and her husband, Erik, are also sought-after speakers who inspire corporate audiences worldwide, sharing their expertise on creativity, innovation, and leadership. Together, they co-founded The Wahl Group 26 years ago, an organization dedicated to sparking innovation and driving change through creativity.
