Joanna Hyatt is an author, international speaker, and media personality whose work explores the intersections of faith, culture, politics, and personal development. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Hyatt began her career as an on-air host and producer for SAFE WORLD, one of the pioneering online platform channels, where she interviewed public figures and engaged with youth audiences. She later served as a recurring on-air host for JCTV and transitioned into the feature film industry as a production executive with Mpower Pictures, collaborating with producers Steve McEveety and John Shepherd on projects including the film "The Stoning of Soraya M."

Hyatt's career shifted when her involvement in the film industry led her to work with a pregnancy clinic in Santa Monica, sparking a focus on sexual health education and advocacy for young women. She left the film sector to become director of Reality Check, a nonprofit teen pregnancy and STD prevention program in Los Angeles. During her tenure, Hyatt expanded the program into a nationally replicated curriculum and spoke to thousands of teens annually in the Los Angeles area, addressing sensitive topics related to sexual health, relationships, and youth education.

Hyatt is the author of "The Sex Talk: A Survival Guide for Parents," a resource designed to help parents navigate conversations about sex and relationships with their children. The book provides practical guidance and tools for fostering open communication. Hyatt has contributed to Huffington Post and has appeared in documentaries as well as on radio and television as a guest commentator, sharing expertise on sexual health, parenting, and cultural issues.

In addition to her work in sexual health education, Hyatt held a leadership role at Live Action, a national organization focused on public opinion regarding abortion.
