Leslie Coutterand Biography
Leslie Coutterand is a French-American speaker, journalist, director, producer, and climate activist whose career spans entertainment, environmental advocacy, and storytelling. Coutterand attended Cours Florent in Paris, graduating from the European acting school. She gained recognition for lead roles on French national networks, including TF1's prime time TV series "Julie Lescaut" and France 2's "Déjà Vu," which was nominated for best teen show at the national TV Festival de La Rochelle. Coutterand also appeared in the American film industry with a role in "Larry Gaye: Renegade Male Flight Attendant," alongside Henry Winkler and Marcia Gay Harden. She has been featured in international cosmetic campaigns for brands such as Nivea and Head & Shoulders.
After a period of personal exploration and meetings with spiritual leaders in Nepal, India, and Southeast Asia, Coutterand shifted her focus to projects with a positive impact on society and the environment. In addition to acting, she has produced short documentaries and commercials for Nuro, SciFuture, Indeed, and Google, and directed a six-episode miniseries comedy for BBC3 on gender norms and sexism. Coutterand is the co-director of the documentary "I Love Therefore I Am."
