Patrice Ford Lyn Biography

Patrice Ford Lyn is an executive coach, transformational facilitator, and the CEO and founder of Catapult Change, a coaching and consulting firm focused on supporting the success and well-being of underrepresented executives and their teams. Ford Lyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Yale University, a master's degree in nonprofit management from Harvard Kennedy School, and advanced certification as a Professional Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation. She also holds certification in brain-based coaching from the NeuroLeadership Institute, reflecting a commitment to evidence-based leadership development.

Ford Lyn's career includes co-authoring Jamaica's national strategy for youth development and serving as both the national director of youth and the director of Jamaica's National Center for Youth Development. She later worked in the United States as a special advisor to the executive director at the Forum for Youth Investment and as director of community mobilization, where she supported 26 cities in advancing national effectiveness. Ford Lyn spent more than a decade as a management consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, collaborating with corporate, government, and nonprofit leaders to strengthen organizations and support leadership growth.

Through Catapult Change, Ford Lyn leverages her experience to prioritize Black, Indigenous, and people of color in executive leadership. Her clients include organizations such as Wells Fargo, Coca-Cola, Ralph Lauren, Netflix, Johnson & Johnson, United Airlines, and AARP. Ford Lyn integrates neuroleadership, somatics, and executive coaching to guide senior leaders, particularly those navigating barriers of race and gender, toward impactful and sustainable leadership.
