Bella Zanesco is a highly commercial Entrepreneur in Residence, Product / Service Innovation Director and Educator with deep domain expertise in fin-tech, med/health-tech and large scale banking, telco, retail and FMCG M&A, digital transformation, growth and partnership initiatives. She gets excited about the opportunity to lead high performing teams to rapidly test, validate, kill or iterate value propositions to delight customers.
Zanesco can point to $5billion in new value created off the back of deals executed, approved business cases and new value propositions launched at speed that ensure long term business relevance and differentiation. She has mentored over 50 startups and scaleups to achieve their personal and business potential and built investment cases to gain millions in investment funding from pre-seed to Series A+.
During a sabbatical, Zanesco wrote the international best-selling book “Smart Girls Screw Up Too — The no-nonsense guide to creating the life you want”. It has been touted as the 'bible for navigating a career pivot and burnout’ and is the best-selling personal leadership book in 2018 by an Australian author of any gender. It was published by Wiley, Blinkist and Audible and is available in all good bookstores and on your favorite digital platforms.
In 2019 Zanesco was a finalist for Women in Digital's prestigious "Community Champion" Award. Southern Cross University named her “Vice Chancellor's 2018 Outstanding Alumnus of the Year" and the City of London named her the "2015 UK's Top 50 Young Change-maker".
Zanesco's passions include kiteboarding and sailing (a past world champion), yoga, meditation and documentary photography having been awarded the Weekend Australian Travel Photographer of the Year.
Zanesco is the proud owner of Skarky (a rescue pup) and loves to spend time volunteering for causes that help young girls and women achieve their potential including Kibera School for Girls.
