Chris Gomez Biography

Chris Gomez is a former U.S. Navy SEAL with a military background in leadership, team performance, and high-risk training. With 12 years in the Naval Special Warfare community, Gomez served as both a medic and a SEAL instructor. During his tenure with the SEAL Teams, he qualified as a Master Training Specialist, HRST Master, Diving Supervisor, Range Safety Officer, free-fall and static line parachutist, and Nationally Registered Paramedic, among other Naval Special Warfare qualifications.

Gomez developed, planned, implemented, and conducted more than 5,000 hours of high-risk training evolutions in one of the most demanding military training programs, resulting in the qualification of nearly 500 Naval Special Warfare Operators.

In addition to his Special Warfare career, Gomez served as a Navy Supply Corps Officer for nearly nine years, gaining experience as a business financial manager and government acquisition professional—a role considered the MBA equivalent within the Navy. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas, combining operational experience with formal business education to provide insight into corporate leadership and organizational performance.

As an associate partner at Afterburner, Gomez trains business leaders from Fortune 500 companies across industries, helping teams achieve strategic objectives and tactical goals through Afterburner's Flawless Execution methodology.
