Dennis William Cox is a financial services risk management specialist and chief executive officer of Risk Reward Limited, a firm providing capital raising, risk management, internal audit, recruitment, and consulting services to banks, insurance companies, regulators, and alternative financial institutions in developed and emerging markets. The company operates from offices in London and Miami.

After graduating from Westfield College with a degree in mathematics, Cox qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Young and later joined BDO, focusing on banking and finance. He then moved to Midland Bank/HSBC as senior audit manager (compliance), concentrating on internal audit, treasury, and investigation work. Cox subsequently held senior management positions as director of risk management at HSBC Insurance Brokers Limited and Prudential Portfolio Managers. His experience across major financial institutions provided the foundation for his work in consulting, risk management, and financial regulation.

Risk Reward Limited is licensed by HM Privy Council Chartered professional bodies and institutes to provide executive learning courses and training for examination preparation, including for the Chartered Institute of Accountants in England and Wales, the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Cox is recognized as an international advisor on risk, audit, and compliance to financial regulators and regulated institutions. He also serves as principal consultant within the firm, applying his expertise to client engagements in banking, insurance, and regulatory compliance.

Cox is a fellow, co-founder, and former chairman of the Risk Forum for the UK Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, where he served as a national council member.
