Rosa Van Parys Biography
Rosa Van Parys is an architect and jewelry designer from Ecuador. She is the creator of her own jewelry line, which is her namesake, and the co-founder of Van Parys Architecture + Design, which she started with her husband.
After high school, Van Parys left her hometown and went to France, where she studied graphic and plastic arts, then returned to Ecuador to earn a professional degree in architecture.
Over the next few years, she earned her master’s degree in building science from the University of Southern California School of Architecture and then a master’s in design from Harvard. In 2012, Rosa opened a boutique firm, Van Parys Architecture & Design, with her husband, focusing on residential projects in upscale Southern California neighborhoods, like Malibu and Newport Beach.
In 2016, Rosa decided to turn her hobby of making jewelry into a full-time career when she decided to start "Rosa Van Parys Jewelry." Each piece is designed and brought to life by Rosa, from concept to finished piece. The collection of couture jewelry features an assortment of "exquisite treasures made of captivating and sought-after precious and semi-precious stones from around the world set meticulously in 18K yellow, white, rose and black gold."
