Alessia Caracciolo, better known by her stage name Alessia Cara, is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Brampton, Ontario. She was well-known on YouTube for her acoustic song covers. Alessia signed a record deal with EP Entertainment and Def Jam in 2014.
In 2018, Cara won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist. Her debut album, "Know-It-All," was released in 2015 and reached #9 on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. Her hit songs include "Scars to Your Beautiful," "Here" and "Growing Pains."
