Jason Schenker Biography

Jason Schenker is the Chairman of The Futurist Institute, which helps analysts, consultants, and executives prepare for the future. Schenker is the author of over 30 books and the creator of over 40 online courses about emerging technologies, data, economics, finance, risk management, and leadership. As the President of Prestige Economics, Bloomberg News has ranked Mr. Schenker the #1 forecaster in the world in 26 different categories since 2011, including for his forecasts of industrial metals prices, oil prices, the euro, the Chinese Yuan, and U.S. jobs. Since 2004, Mr. Schenker has given over 500 presentations all over the world. He has also given over 1,000 television interviews, including for Bloomberg Television, CNBC, CNN, and the BBC.

Schenker advises Fortune 500 companies, central banks, government entities, OPEC, NATO, the UN, and the WHO. He previously worked for McKinsey as a Risk Specialist and at Wachovia (now, Wells Fargo) as an economist. Schenker holds master's degrees in three unique fields: applied economics (UNCG), negotiation (CSUDH), and German (UNC). His bachelor's degree is in history and in German (UVA). Schenker has completed postgraduate certificates at MIT, Harvard Law School, and Carnegie Mellon.
