Oscar S. Garcia is a bilingual (Spanish and English) advisor and media commentator specializing in aviation, aerospace, and space transportation. Garcia is an aerospace and aeronautics advisor, consultant, event presenter, and public speaker with expertise in strategy, business development, industry trends, and forecasting. With more than 20 years of experience in the aviation and aerospace industry, Garcia has advised and presented to investors, academia, private enterprises, government and non-government organizations, and general audiences worldwide.

Garcia is the chairman and CEO of InterFlight Global Corporation, which he founded, and has led numerous multimillion-dollar strategic, design, and business development projects for enterprises of various sizes. His business experience includes funding start-up ventures and designing joint ventures among aerospace companies, with a focus on company design, setup, growth, and expansion, as well as R&D, sales, and support networks. Garcia also serves as chairman of the Fast Forward Group, a suborbital transportation think tank focused on point-to-point space transportation.

Garcia is a second-generation air transport pilot-level aviator rated on the Boeing 747-400 and 777-200/300, among other aircraft, and has flown for airlines including American Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways. He holds FAA and JAR Airline Transport Pilot and Flight Instructor licenses, as well as instrument and multi-engine certificates, with more than 8,500 hours of flight time in various aircraft and simulators. Garcia serves as an experimental test and expert pilot involved in NextGen safety and technology research projects for organizations such as the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, and NASA.

Garcia is a member of the FAA Aviation Safety Team and the U.S. DOT FAA/AST Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee, where he chairs the Standards and Systems Working Group and participates in the Operations and Reusable Launch Vehicles and International Space Policy Working Groups. His conference appearances include chairing the Annual High Speed Aerospace Transportation Workshop in Midland, Texas, and participating in the North American Space Summit with SAFRAN CEO Peter Lengyel. He has also presented at the UNOOSA ICAO aeroSPACE Symposium in Abu Dhabi. Garcia has appeared on CNN, CNN Español, Univision, and CBS News, providing expert commentary on aviation events and developments in the space industry.

Garcia holds a bachelor's degree in aviation science and technology with an aerospace engineering specialization from San Diego State University and a master's degree in aviation and aerospace business administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. In addition to his professional work, Garcia is an aviation and aerospace fine artist and philanthropist, presenting his work under the name PilotO and serving as a donor and board member for various aerospace-focused charitable and scholarship funds.
