In 2008, Storm created Brainstormin Productions. Her first project was a documentary chronicling the rivalry between Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova for ESPN's 30 for 30 film series. Storm also created the Hannah Storm Foundation, which raises awareness and provides treatment for children suffering from debilitating and disfiguring vascular birthmarks. Storm is the author of two books: Notre Dame Inspirations and Go Girl!: Raising Healthy, Confident and Successful Daughters through Sports.

As anchor for CBS' The Early Show from 2002 to 2007, Storm helped lead the network coverage of major news events including the war in Iraq, Hurricane Katrina, Super Bowls XLI and XXXVIII, and the Presidential campaigns of 2004 and 2008.
