Hannah Storm

Hannah Storm, a television sports journalist, embarked on her career in the television industry in 1984. Currently the anchor of ESPN's "SportsCenter," Storm has an impressive track record with several notable networks such as CNN, NBC Sports, CBS News, and ESPN. She has the distinction of being the first woman in American television history to solo host a network's sports package, with her career portfolio encompassing roles such as CNN "Sports Tonight" Anchor, World Series Host, "NBA on NBC" Host, "The Early Show" Co-Host, "SportsCenter" Anchor, and "NBA Countdown" Host. Storm has also worked alongside notable figures in sports broadcasting, such as Marv Albert and Bob Costas, covering major events like the NBA Finals, WNBA Finals, and All-Star Games.

Storm's coverage of sports events is not limited to the studio or the sidelines. In 2018, she and Andrea Kremer became the first female duo to call an NFL game for an Amazon Prime stream of Thursday Night Football, a testament to her versatility and adaptability as a journalist. In addition to her reporting duties, Storm has interviewed significant figures such as President George W. Bush and Halle Berry, further broadening her experience and expertise.

Off-camera, Storm is known for her philanthropic and creative endeavors. She established the Hannah Storm Foundation, which advocates for and offers treatment to children with vascular birthmarks. She also serves on the boards of the Tribeca Film Festival, Colgate Women's Sports Awards, and 21st Century Kids 1st Foundation, among others. Storm is also the founder of Brainstormin' Productions, which is dedicated to producing educational and inspirational programming. In 2024, Storm announced on "Good Morning America" that she was diagnosed with DCIS, the earliest form of breast cancer. After a lumpectomy to remove the cancer and a treatment plan, Storm is cancer-free and sharing her story to let women know the importance of annual mammograms.

She has authored books including "Notre Dame Inspirations: The University's Most Successful Alumni Talk About Life, Spirituality, Football and Everything Else Under the Dome" and "Go Girl! Raising Healthy Confident and Successful Daughters through Sports."
