Sharon Horgan

Sharon Horgan is an Irish actress, writer, director, comedian, and producer recognized for her contributions to contemporary television. Horgan is known for creating and starring in the comedy series "Pulling," "Catastrophe," and "Bad Sisters." She is also a co-founder of the production company Merman.

Horgan gained attention with "Pulling," a BBC Three comedy she co-wrote and starred in, earning the British Comedy Award for Best TV Actress. The show's final episode received the British Comedy Award for Best Comedy Drama. She later co-created and starred in "Catastrophe" alongside Rob Delaney, a Channel 4 sitcom that brought her international recognition. Horgan is a seven-time BAFTA TV Award nominee and received the BAFTA TV Award for Best Comedy Writer for "Catastrophe."
