Nico Tortorella

Nico Tortorella is an American actor, author, musician, and podcaster known for work across television, film, literature, and audio media. Tortorella began performing in professional theater in seventh grade, establishing a foundation in acting that led to early roles such as Razor in ABC Family's "Make It or Break It" and Trevor Sheldon in the horror film "Scream 4." Tortorella also portrayed Jacob Wells in Fox's crime drama "The Following."

Tortorella is recognized for the role of Josh in TV Land's comedy-drama "Younger," and for starring as Felix Carlucci in AMC's "The Walking Dead: World Beyond." Additional credits include appearances in Apple TV+'s "City on Fire," based on the New York Times bestselling book by Garth Risk Hallberg, and the independent drama "The Mattachine Family." On stage, Tortorella debuted in Jordan Jaffe's play "CRUDE," earning positive reviews for the portrayal of Jaime, and performed alongside Sutton Foster with The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

As a writer, Tortorella authored the poetry collection "all of it is you" and the memoir "Space Between," which explores themes of love, sex, gender, addiction, family, fame, and fluidity. "Olivette Is You" marks Tortorella's picture book debut. In podcasting, Tortorella hosted "The Love Bomb," focusing on conversations about love, sexuality, and gender, and co-hosts "Full of Shift" with Bethany Meyers.

Tortorella has also released a debut music album. In addition to a career in entertainment, Tortorella is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and has been recognized by the City of Los Angeles with a day named in honor of advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community. Tortorella is known for openly discussing topics such as sobriety, identity, and nontraditional life paths, engaging audiences interested in LGBTQ+ visibility, mental health, and personal storytelling.
