Maura Higgins

Maura Higgins first came into the public eye as a finalist on the reality series "Love Island" in 2019. Since then, she has participated in various other reality shows, including "Dancing on Ice" in 2020 where she was eliminated in week 7, and "Cooking with the Stars" in 2022, reaching the semi-final. More recently, in 2024, she has been a contestant on "I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!", finishing in seventh place. She also appeared on the fourth season of "The Traitors US" in 2026.

Outside her reality show appearances, Higgins has made significant strides in the fields of broadcasting and beauty. She is the social media presenter for "Love Island USA" and "Love Island Games", as well as the host of "Love Island USA: Aftersun" and "Love Island Games: Aftersun". She has also presented the Irish version of "Glow Up" and has been a guest panelist on shows like "Loose Women," "The Late Late Show," and "Jeremy Vine." In the beauty industry, Higgins launched her own false eyelashes brand "False Flutters" exclusively with Primark in December 2020 and in January 2025, she became the face of MAC Cosmetics UK and Ireland's new makeup campaign "I Only Wear MAC."

Her accomplishments have been recognized and awarded. In January 2020, she won "TV Personality of the Year" at The Gossies Awards. Two years later, in April 2022, she won "Best Female TV Presenter" and "Most Stylish Lady" at the same awards. Furthermore, she is set to make her acting debut in the film "The Spin," scheduled for release in 2025. The film has already won Best Irish Feature Film at Dublin International Film Festival and Best Feature Film at Istanbul International Film Festival, further solidifying Higgins' diverse talents and achievements.
