Marc Blucas

Marc Blucas is an actor recognized for his work in television and film, particularly in drama, comedy, and action genres. Blucas attended Wake Forest University on a basketball scholarship and played professionally for the Manchester Giants in Europe before transitioning to acting. Inspired by the film "A Few Good Men," he initially considered a legal career but ultimately pursued acting after discovering a passion for performance.

Blucas made his film debut as a basketball player in "Eddie" and worked as a technical coordinator on the biopic "Never Give Up: The Jimmy V Story." He further developed his acting skills before landing additional roles, including a part in "Pleasantville," where his basketball expertise contributed both on screen and behind the scenes. Blucas gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Agent Riley Finn in the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," a role that established his presence in the entertainment industry.

His film credits include "First Daughter," "Summer Catch," and "We Were Soldiers." On television, Blucas played football team manager Matthew Donnelly in the USA drama series "Necessary Roughness" and portrayed abolitionist John Hawkes in the historical drama series "Underground." He appeared in the dark comedy "Why Women Kill" and had a guest role in the crime comedy "Good Girls."

Blucas expanded into streaming platforms with a lead role as George Walter in the Netflix coming-of-age series "My Life with the Walter Boys." He was also cast as U.S. Congressman John Samson in the Amazon Prime series "Reacher." In addition to his acting career, Blucas coaches a high school basketball team in Los Angeles, maintaining his connection to athletics and community engagement.
