Madelyn Cline Biography
Madelyn Renee Cline is an American actress and model known for her starring role as Sarah Cameron on the Netflix drama series "Outer Banks." After graduating from Charleston Day School, she enrolled at Coastal Carolina University, but dropped out in 2017 to pursue acting. She soon got to start with small roles such as Chloe in "Boy Erased" and Taylor Watts in "Vice Principals." She also had small recurring roles in "The Originals" and "Stranger Things." In 2018, she was cast as Sarah Cameron in "Outer Banks," the first season of which was released on April 15, 2020. In September 2020, Cline and her co-star, Chase Stokes, starred in the music video for Kygo and Donna Summer's single "Hot Stuff."
Cline was raised in Goose Creek, South Carolina, near Charleston. She enjoys photography, drawing, road trips, hiking, horse riding and wakeboarding. During an interview with Women's Health, Cline revealed that she had an eating disorder during her teens, which resulted in her having mental health issues.
