Joe Budden

Joe Budden, a notable figure in the hip hop industry, first gained public attention with his 2003 single "Pump It Up". His debut studio album, also named "Joe Budden", was a commercial success, breaking into the top ten of the Billboard 200. Budden's influence in the music industry expanded beyond his solo career; he was a member of the hip-hop supergroup Slaughterhouse, which released two studio albums under Shady Records. In 2013, Budden transitioned into reality television, joining the cast of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: New York" in its third season.

Following his success in the music and television industries, Budden further diversified his portfolio by venturing into broadcasting. He hosted "The Joe Budden Podcast," a series that has aired over 800 episodes. In addition to his podcast, Budden co-hosted "Everyday Struggle" for Complex magazine in 2017 and later hosted "State of the Culture" on the Revolt network from 2018 to 2020. His outspoken views on prominent figures in the hip-hop industry earned him the nickname "the Howard Stern of hip hop".

Budden's career has seen several significant shifts, from music to television to broadcasting. In 2018, he announced his retirement from rapping and made headlines when he partnered with Sean Combs to produce "State of the Culture". In 2021, he joined Patreon as Creator Equity Advisor, with the aim of improving the platform's monetization system for creators.
