Jeff Foxworthy

Jeff Foxworthy is a stand-up comedian recognized for his signature "You might be a redneck" one-liners, which highlight his comedic approach to everyday life and Southern culture. Foxworthy began his career in comedy after winning a local competition at Atlanta's Punchline comedy club, prompting him to leave his job in mainframe computer maintenance to pursue stand-up full time. Over several years, he performed hundreds of shows nationwide, developing a storytelling style rooted in self-deprecating humor and observations about American life.

Foxworthy's debut album, "You Might Be a Redneck If…," topped the comedy charts and achieved multi-platinum status. His follow-up, "Games Rednecks Play," received a Grammy nomination. He has released six major-label comedy albums and is recognized as one of the best-selling comedy-recording artists in history, earning multiple Grammy Award nominations. Foxworthy is also the author of more than 26 books, including humor collections, the "Jeff Foxworthy's Redneck Dictionary" series, children's titles such as "Dirt On My Shirt," and his autobiography, "No Shirt, No Shoes… No Problem!"

Foxworthy was a founding member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour with Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White. The tour, known for its focus on relatable, working-class humor, ran for several years, drew large audiences, and led to three films, a satellite radio show, and the television series "Blue Collar TV" on The WB. Foxworthy expanded his television presence by hosting the game show "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" on Fox, "The American Bible Challenge," and NBC's comedy competition series "Bring the Funny." Foxworthy's influence extends beyond stand-up comedy.
