Ike Barinholtz Biography
Ike Barinholtz is a writer, director, and actor known for his sharp comedic voice and memorable on-screen presence. He most recently starred in Apple TV+’s "The Studio," from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, which earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Before that, he appeared in the hit series "The Afterparty" alongside Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, and Dave Franco. On the big screen, Barinholtz starred in "The Hunt" with Hilary Swank and "Late Night" with Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling. He made his directorial debut with "The Oath," which he also co-wrote and starred in, opposite Tiffany Haddish and John Cho.
His other film credits include "Blockers" with Leslie Mann and John Cena, "Neighbors 2" with Seth Rogen and Zac Efron, "Suicide Squad" opposite Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Margot Robbie, and "Sisters" with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. As a writer, he co-wrote the action-comedy "Central Intelligence" starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart.
On television, Barinholtz was a fan favorite and writer on "The Mindy Project," and also appeared in "Eastbound and Down," "The League," and "MADtv," where he was a series regular for five seasons.
