Fahim Anwar

Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer whose career path includes a transition from aerospace engineering to comedy. Anwar began his professional journey as an aerospace engineer at Boeing after earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington. His decision to leave a stable engineering career for stand-up comedy has become a central element of his narrative, resonating with audiences interested in career change and creative pursuits.

Anwar has developed a substantial body of stand-up work, releasing three specials. His first hour special, "There's No Business Like Show Business," premiered on NBC's streaming network Seeso. Following that special, The New York Times listed Anwar as a "Most Promising Future Star." His second special, "Hat Trick," filmed at the World Famous Comedy Store, was named one of the best specials of the year by the LA Times. He continued his stand-up career with a third special, "House Money."

In television and film, Anwar's credits include "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" opposite Tina Fey, "Neighbors," and "Drunk History." He wrote for two seasons of CBS's "United States of Al" and has appeared on "Conan" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
