Cynthia Nixon made her mark in the entertainment industry with a role in the hit series "Sex and the City," which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. Her portrayal of Miranda Hobbes was reprised in the show's film adaptations and the television sequel, "And Just Like That..." Nixon's Broadway debut was in the 1980 revival of "The Philadelphia Story," and she later garnered two Tony Awards for her performances in "Rabbit Hole" and "The Little Foxes."
