Aaron Pierre

Aaron Pierre is a British actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. Pierre attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, completing four years in the professional acting program. He also trained at the British Institute of Dramatic Combat, earning a Level-3 distinction in stage combat.

Pierre made his professional stage debut as Cassio in "Othello" at Shakespeare's Globe, a performance that earned him a nomination for the Ian Charleson Award. His transition to screen included a role as Dev-Em in the science fiction series "Krypton." After his performance in "Othello," director Barry Jenkins invited Pierre to audition for "The Underground Railroad" on Amazon Prime, where he played Caesar. Pierre also appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's film "Old," portraying a rapper and contributing an original song to the project. His role as Francis in the Canadian drama "Brother" earned him the Best Supporting Performance in a Film at the Canadian Screen Awards.

Pierre's television work includes portraying Malcolm X in "Genius" and Terry Richmond in "Rebel Ridge." He voiced Mufasa in the live-action prequel "Mufasa: The Lion King," directed by Barry Jenkins. Pierre joined the cast of "The Morning Show" on Apple TV+ as Miles, appearing alongside Jennifer Aniston and Marion Cotillard. His career also includes roles in Netflix's action thriller "Rebel Ridge" and the DC Universe series "Lanterns," where he was cast as John Stewart, also known as Green Lantern.
