Anjali Bindra Patel Biography

Anjali Bindra Patel is a lawyer, Certified Diversity Executive (CDE), and workplace diversity expert whose career centers on building inclusive, equitable communities. Patel joined Georgetown Law as its chief diversity officer, becoming the institution's first person to hold that title. In this role, she leads the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and excellence among students, faculty, and staff. Patel brings more than two decades of experience in diversity, equity, employment law, and inclusion leadership to one of the nation's prominent law schools.

She is the author of "Humanity at Work," an Amazon bestseller that explores the challenges and opportunities of remote workforces in the context of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Patel is recognized for her expertise in designing tailored DEI policies and integrating well-being principles into leadership and staff development. She has chaired and spoken at numerous events and conferences, including the D.C. Bar Association Conference featuring former Attorney General Eric Holder and the Employee Wellness Summit for Legal Professionals.
