David "Finch" Guenthner Biography

David Guenthner is a keynote speaker, leadership expert, and founder of Fox Three, whose career spans military aviation and corporate leadership development. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Guenthner holds master's degrees in military leadership and aeronautical science. His graduate thesis, "Weapon of Mass Information: Incorporating Social Media in the Information Instrument of National Power," received the Future Trends Study Award and was ranked first among more than 500 graduate theses.

As a former Air Force F-16 fighter pilot, Guenthner completed 80 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned four Air Medals. He served with the Montana Air National Guard and worked as an Air Force One Advance Agent, coordinating with multiple agencies to ensure presidential transportation security. These roles provided Guenthner with experience in high-pressure environments, which he now applies to leadership development and decision-making training for organizations.

After his military service, Guenthner founded Fox Three, a leadership development firm that offers keynotes, workshops, consulting, and training for teams navigating complex and dynamic environments. His presentations, including "The Fighter Pilot Performance Cycle" and "Overcoming Task Saturation," are based on methodologies from military aviation and are designed to enhance organizational performance.
