Hailing from Chicago by way of Nigeria, Tobi Lou is a rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer that emerged onto the music scene in 2015 with his single, “Game Ova”. He initially pursued a career in professional baseball but injuries led him back home and eventually to Los Angeles, California.

In the city of angels, the young artist developed his signature upbeat sound while honing his visual branding along-side Glassface and Goodnight Meesh. With his buoyant music and visual content, Tobi Lou is creating his own magical universe full of enchanting cartoon characters and vibrant animation.

In February 2018, Tobi Lou released the tobi lou and the Moon project which eventually led to the unveiling of his dynamic music video “Troop” featuring Smino. Inspired by Brockhampton’s rapid release formula, Lou dropped his follow-up EP tobi lou and the Loop only two months after his last release.

In 2019, he released his debut album, Live on Ice. Following his stream of success, Tobi Lou sold out a nationwide tour, and has played notable music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, and various other festivals around the United States.

In 2020, Tobi Lou continued to drop singles such as Endorphins, Pretty Much, Skin Care Tutorial 2020, Hot Tub Time Machine, Hot Tub DREAM Machine, Neither Here Nor There, and was featured alongside Chance The Rapper on Peter CottonTale’s Pray For Real.

His 3-song EP compilation, Lingo Starr consists of 3 tracks, Return of the Dragon, Strikes Back, and Drunken Master.
